What Happens At Our Monthly Meetings
Our meetings open at 7.30pm (with the singing of Jerusalem - since the pandemic this has been put on hold and we are not singing at the start of the meeting) and any notices that we have received are read out. Often a member of the WI gives a short report on a WI event they have recently attended.
We then are entertained by a guest speaker ( see our current monthly meetings programme) - talks vary from The Air Ambulance to The History of Chocolate (complete with samples) to A 17th century Christmas.
After our talk we have tea, coffee and cake before the meeting closes between 9.15 and 9.30pm.
Visitors and New Members are very welcome at any meeting. Please feel free to contact us if you would like any further information using the contact form.
